InRow RC The InRow RC is a computer room chilled water cooling system designed for installation in the row to maximize sensible cooling and increase efficiency. The unit captures heat directly from the hot aisle and distributes cool air ensuring that equipment temperatures are constantly held to setpoint conditions. The energy-efficient design lowers TCO by monitoring IT equipment inlet temperatures to modulate capacity based on the demand for cooling. Fan speed is controlled based on the demand to reduce energy consumption during off-peak cooling periods. Heat rejection for the unit can be handled through an existing chilled water system or an APC-supplied chiller. The modular, scalable solution improves agility by enabling you to add cooling as demand increases, making the InRow RC ideal for small to large datacenters. |

InRow RD The InRow RD is a computer room air conditioning system designed to be installed in the row of racks. This placement ensures proper airflow paths, while also increasing energy efficiency. The unit captures hot exhaust air directly from the hot aisle and distributes cool air through the front of the unit, ensuring temperatures are held at setpoint conditions. The InRow RD family, available in both air-cooled and fluid-cooled (water/glycol, 300mm only) versions, allows for tremendous flexibility and savings on installation as well as operation. |

InRow RP The InRow RP is a high capacity precision air conditioning unit designed to maximize sensible cooling for high efficiency operation. The InRow RP product increases the capacity range for chilled water applications and includes an air cooled solution. Both the chilled water and air cooled products offer the ability to control humidity with canister humidifiers and electric reheat, enabling data center designs to leverage the InRow Architecture for both sensible cooling of the IT load in the row, and humidity control of the entire data center. The in-row concept closely couples cooling with the heat load, preventing exhaust air recirculation to sensitive IT equipment. The energy-efficient design lowers TCO by monitoring IT equipment inlet temperature to modulate capacity based on the demand for cooling. Fan speed is controlled based on the demand to reduce energy consumption during off-peak cooling periods. InRow SC The InRow SC is a self-contained cooling solution that maximizes availability within small IT rooms. This energy efficient unit lowers operating costs by using variable speed fans, capacity modulation, and an in-row form factor. The InRow SC's plug-and-play design allows for rapid installation without the need for running refrigerant lines or proving remote heat exchangers. The predictive failure notification and high head pressure protection features, along with hot-swappable fans, improve the availability of IT equipment. |

Hot Aisle Containment The Hot Aisle Containment system ensures proper air distribution by completely separating supply and return air paths. The hot aisle is sealed off using doors and transparent ceiling tiles that extend the width of the hot aisle. Ceiling tiles are available for both 19" and 23" racks. Two-rack kits complete with ceiling tile and hardware are available for future expansion. |

Rack Air
Containment Rack Air Containment is a modular system designed to work in conjunction with APC's NetShelter SX enclosures and InRow cooling units to provide maximum cooling predictability, capacity, and efficiency. By attaching to the rear of the NetShelter SX, air exhausted from IT equipment is forced to pass through the cooling unit where it is conditioned. This ensures that warm exhaust air does not find its way back to the air inlets of installed servers. N+1 and 2N configurations allow for maximum availability. Front containment can also be added to provide additional isolation and noise dampening. |
